How often to groom, by coat type

Short, long, double and curly coats each need their own rhythm.

There's no single rule — the gap depends on the coat and how much brushing happens at home.

Short coats: 4–6 weeks

A bath and nail trim is usually enough.

Double coats: 6–8 weeks, plus shedding season

De-shed every visit — never shave.

Long & curly: bath every 2–3 weeks, cut every 4–8

These coats tangle fast — more frequent, shorter visits work best.
